Weird thought of the afternoon:
Can you imagine, for a moment, what it would be like if you had NO idea what eating was, but every few hours you had this overwhelming urge to put organic matter in your mouth?
Don’t even get me started on other instincts. O_o
This came up because after I workout, the sense of hunger I feel usually comes on quite abruptly and strongly, and I find myself looking around for anything within range that I can eat. And this feels much more instinctual than it does logical (at least when you are in a place where you have no food — so anything you do discover isn’t going to be yours).
That said, I’d also like to say that there is something nice about the feeling of actually being hungry and not simply eating because “it’s time”.
