Fennec Fox

So I initiated a new drawing game earlier on Facebook (I ran a previous one called “I drew something“).

Basically, the new game involves combining or including 3 audience suggestions in a drawing.

Someone suggested a “Fennec Fox” (wikipedia) today and I got so caught up in trying to draw one that I lost track of time.

So this is not the result of the game. It’s just an attempt at drawing a Fennec Fox. :)

The snozzberries taste like snozzberries

Still here — just loopy from a combination of wildfire evacuations, high temperatures, tooth extractions, pain killers, antibiotics, a change in dietary habits, and lack of restful sleep.

Today is when body fatigue kicked in a bit — But I’m at least mentally sharper now that I’m not taking prescription pain meds.

To prove how mentally sharp I am today, here’s a self-portrait.

Just sitting here waiting on my next mission

For whatever reason, it’s taking me longer to recover from my recent dental work than I’d anticipated. I’ve been pretty drained & weak since last Saturday (my dental work was on Thursday) — despite sleeping 10 hours for the past 2 nights.

Fatigue isn’t a listed side affect of the antibiotics I’m taking, so I’m not sure what it’s a result of.

In any case, I haven’t been terribly productive. And although I’d like to be, but my body has other plans for now.

I can still doodle though.

Under the Tree and Zzz'ing

I feel 25% better than yesterday. (Which means I am now at 77%).

To reflect feeling better, I put 22% more effort into today’s doodle…

Although I completely ruined what I was going for (by accident) midway through. And this temporarily reduced my morale by about 4%.

But then I decided to see if I could save it (and learn from my mistake)… and as a result, I learned 14% more than I would have if I hadn’t made any mistakes.

This, in turn, made me 5% more excited than I would have been had I not made the mistakes.
